Piece of thick veneer separated and was broken. It looks like it was not successfully repaired in the past and broken piece was lost. Before filling in, veneer around damage was secured by applying Epoxy glue. Then, Epoxy filler was used to fill in. After drying, spot was sanded and touched-up. Clear Satin finish was applied at the end. Epoxy repairs are some of the strongest and fast drying ways to repair wood.
