This custom build wall unit was finished to match finish of the floor. Custom mix of wiping stain was applyed. The biggest challenge was spraying lacquer between the shelves which unfortunately were not removable.
This was a cost-saving TOP ONLY STRIP AND REFINISHING job since most wear and tear takes place on the flat horizontal surfaces. In this case base were reconditioned. It's very rare that bases have to be stripped.
This job was done in a Bank in Rhode Island. Table was stripped, sanded, stained and sprayed with 6 coats of clear satin lacquer. This was unusual job because of how far it was. But this was addition to other repairs we did on warranty from furniture manufacturer. We travel that far because the size of project.
This table was very long, I think - 30 feet. It was also glossy, which made touch-ups much harder. Luckily most damages were in usual places - edges or very close to edges.
This new railing was sanded, cleaned from dust and stained. After drying overnight polyurethane satin finish was applied. Totaling 4 coats with sanding between with 220 sandpaper.
